Pkg Get

pkg-get is the original "install packages over the network" program for Solaris, written by Philip Brown, inspired by Debian's "apt-get" program. It is used as the primary transport of sites such as sunfreeware.com, opencsw.org, and others.

It works very similar to apt-get:

pkg-get install softwarename
pkg-get upgrade softwarename

It also has some additional useful functionality.
