Project Package Download

The goal of this project is to provide a downloadable datastream of a package with all its dependencies included.

Dependencies always calculated from within a catalog
Packages with deps are referenced by an XOR of the md5s of all included packages
Data from the package browser of already unpacked packages is reused
Packages are calculated on demand (TBD: How much space would all precalculated packages occupy?)
Regular cleanup of cache area triggered by lack of free space
