"Kiel" release notes:

• Upgrades:
  • MySQL 5.0 to 5.5
  • GCC 4.6 to 4.7
  • OpenSSL 0.9.8 to 1.0
  • Ruby 1.9
  • Boost 1.49

The following things are in progress:

• OpenSSL 1.0 update and rebuild all dependencies
• Lua 5.2 update and rebuild all dependencies
• NetSNMP update and rebuild all dependencies
• Split to core/active/unspported

Here is a list of issues that is open for discussion to be included in the upcoming OpenCSW release "Kiel":

• Update Perl as described in project-perl-dublin
• Update Ruby and GEMs as described in ruby-dublin
• Release libjpeg8 and compile everything against it
• Release libpng 1.5.x and compile everything against it
• Unification of BerkeleyDB usage to 4.8 (5?)
